We're building the tool we wished existed.
Nebula started because we spent too many hours in meetings, and too many more hours turning those meetings into something useful.
Our story
Before Nebula, we were product managers and engineers who spent half our weeks in meetings and the other half trying to remember what happened in them. We tried every note-taking tool, every recording app, every shared doc workflow. None of them solved the real problem: being fully present in a conversation while also capturing it.
We started Nebula in 2024 with a simple thesis: if AI can understand speech well enough to transcribe it, it can understand it well enough to summarize it. Not just transcribe words, but identify decisions, extract action items, and recognize who committed to what.
Today, Nebula processes thousands of meetings every day for teams across 32 countries. We are a small, focused team based in Jakarta, and we are just getting started.
What we believe
Meetings should leave you with clarity, not homework
The point of a meeting is to align, decide, and move forward. Everything after that should take care of itself.
AI should be a quiet collaborator, not a spectacle
We build tools that do their job without demanding attention. Nebula joins, listens, and delivers. No fanfare.
Your data is yours. Always.
We do not use meeting data to train models. Recordings are deleted after summaries are approved. Privacy is a constraint we design around, not a feature we bolt on.
The team
Sena Park
Co-founder & CEO
Previously product lead at a Series B dev tools company. Spent years in meetings that could have been summaries.
Ari Nakamura
Co-founder & CTO
Former ML engineer at a speech recognition startup. Built transcription systems used by millions.
Jordan Reeves
Engineering Lead
Full-stack engineer who previously built real-time collaboration tools. Obsessed with latency.
Lena Vasquez
Design Lead
Designed enterprise products at two YC companies. Believes the best tools are the ones you forget are running.
Kai Oduya
Product
Former consultant who spent 30 hours a week in meetings. Now builds the tool that would have saved them.
